Hey everyone,
How are you all doing? I am really good, the week we had was really good! We had 5 investigators that went to church and they are all progressing towards a baptism. The Aguilar Family are doing really well, the dad doesn't want anything but that's okay for now, he will see the change in the life of his family and we will see after. But the mom and daughters are really excited for their baptism.
The other people that we are working with are Victor and Javiera they are brother and sister and their mom likes that we are teaching her kids and she wants to see how the church is.
Francisco is a young man that is 15 years old and he is looking for a church to join and he has prayed and feels that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God. He is going to make a lot of friends in the church I am really excited for him!
So today a couple of us are going to have a BQ and we are going to fly Chilean kites and play ping pong! I am really excited to eat some meat baby haha.
I am doing good and I am really excited for this week that is to come! I love you all and we will be talking!
love,

Hey everyone!
Well this week was a tough one for us, we worked hard but it didn't turn out like we wanted it to and then the weekend turned out to be a wet one. Oh man, I have gotten wetter before but it was a crazy one. So we were walking down a street trying to get to our house and we couldn't because there was a river in the street so we had to walk half way down the street to find a place to cross. Here in Chile when it rains - it rains - and the streets become rivers. Oh man, it's so cold here when that happens haha. Well more than that, I am doing good and fighting the blues from this cool rain but we are doing good.
My mom asked me to write more about my companion so here is a little more about him. He speaks almost no English, so I am speaking Spanish 24/7 with him. He is 21 years old and his birthday is the 30 of May. He has 10 months in the mission and is a hard worker. We laugh so much and work really good together. All the members of his family are members of the church. He comes from the South part of Bolivia, its called Tarija. He is really cool and I am glad to be with him.
The work this week went okay. We found 6 new people to teach 2 of them are a couple and they both are 20 years old and the girl was so interested and I am excited to keep teaching them. And our goal this week is to invite all the people that we have found and going to find to be baptized, so we can know what their doubts are and to see if they really want to learn and progress.
For me, I went to the doctor this last Friday and he told me that all is going well with my surgery and that I can start to work out again. haha. I am getting fat and we can't have that. So I am going to start working out really hard. haha. I just got over a cold and now I am feeling good. Well, I am happy and strong and ready to work! I love you all and thanks to all the people that wrote me this week. Have a good week all!
love,
Elder Christenesn
PS The family that's in the photo are members and we had a family home evening with them and I made them pancakes. They loved them haha.

week ending 6.5.11
Well hey everyone,
Last night we had changes and I have a new companion that is from Bolivia his name is Elder Maigua and I have been in the same zone with him before and I am really excited to be with him and I think I will be with him until the end of my mission. And that means that my Spanish is going to be so good and I will not be able to speak English. haha. That's one of my goals, and last night 2 people were really surprised when I told them that I am from the USA. They thought I was Latin, so I am going to start saying that I am Latin. haha. Well, I am really pumped for these last months of my mission because Elder Maigua and I are going to kick some butt.
We had a lesson last night with Miguel and Marlen and we told them that they need to choose what church they want to follow and they will be telling us what they think tomorrow. But I know that they will find the truth and they will be baptized here soon. And we have been finding a lot of people and I am really excited for all the things we are doing. I love the mission and I feel really old now. 21 is a little to old for me and I am in one of the last months of my mission which makes me sad. A friend said it best: "I bet you feel bittersweet." It's true, I want to do this forever but I also want to come home and start the next part of my life. But I am not going to talk more about this or the house so I can be here in the mission 100%.
I love you all and I miss you all. Have a good week. Talk to you later and thanks to everyone that wrote me for my birthday - it made my day!

Hey everyone,
Well it looks like something cool will be happening this Saturday. If you guessed the end of the world - you're wrong. haha No, it's my birthday! whoooooooooooooooooooooo! That's right, I will be 21 years old and I will be just kickin' it here in Chile doing the Lord's work - not doing anything cool for my birthday. What am I saying? The Lord's work is the coolest thing in the world, so that's ok.
This week we found 10 new people to teach and 2 of them are from Peru and it's a family and they said yes to get baptized on the 26 of June so we will be working with them a lot this month to come. And we found a lady that is really awsome. She believes in the Bible and when we started to show her the Bible with the Book of Mormon she was like, "I like the Book of Mormon, it seems like it's more complete." I was like, "You got it!" haha But she isn't married so she can't get baptized until she is married to the guy that she lives with or moves out. Moving out won't happen. haha.
Another thing that is funny (my companion said it was okay that I write this). We were walking down the street and my comp says, "We need to go to the house. I need to use the bathroom right now." So we started back home. I thought it was just a normal bathroom run but he says if another wave hits me I wont be able to hold it in. So we started to walk a little faster, he was squeezing so hard but all the sudden he stops and puts his back to the wall and with a terrified look on his face and says, "I am pooping." Oh man, I started to laugh. I felt bad but it was so funny. And then we get to the house and he's like "It's running down my leg." It's so funny at this point but it gets better, he starts to poop his pants again before he got to the bathroom. After all of this, there was poop everywhere and the words of my companion "I feel like a 240 lb baby!" He is so funny. I will never forget that day.
Well that was my week and I am pumped to be 21 this Saturday. Have a good week and I will talk to you next week. Love you all!

Hey,
Happy Easter to all! This week is a great week and a sad week because this computer won't let me send a photo to you all of my new companion. Yes, I was changed and now I am in a new ward as well. I am in the ward Zañartu, I will give anyone a dollar that doesn't know how to speak Spanish that can say that name. haha. It's in a place called Quilicura. I am really excited to be here and my new companion is from Nephi, Utah and his name is Elder Evans. He seems like a good guy and I am really excited to be here and I am still a District Leader so that is pretty sweet! haha.
This morning something happened that we shouldn't do but it was out of my power, Danilo came to see me and I signed a baseball that I had and he loved it. Oh mom, I need more baseballs, it's a sweet new gift for the people here. haha. And Danilo started to cry and I was like don't cry, you're going to make me cry and I don't cry I am a man. I was joking with him to make him smile so he would stop crying. haha. Well, I am happy it was the first time that I was not sad to be changed. I am still sad that I left all those people that are so sweet but I am happy to be here!
I also learned something really cool this morning, that the way of the Lord is the best way and the way of Elder Christensen is not the best way. The Lord knows best and He does what He thinks best. So I will go and do what the Lord commands and not complain about anything. haha.
Thank you all for your letters and your love, I feel the power of your prayers every day and I am really grateful for them. Have a good week!!

Last night was a tough night for the 4 missionaries that lived in our house. We had changes and the changes that happened were not what we wanted. Well, Elder Stark goes home today (he's standing next to me), his companion Elder Poole got sent to a different sector and my companion, Elder Mendez (on the far left) was sent to another sector. I stayed and I have a new companion. His name is Elder Helmick. He is from Oregon and was in the army before the mission. He is a great guy from what I know and it will be fun working with him. I continue as district leader of 2 sisters haha.
This photo is of the sisters that are in my district, Sister Agilar is from Guatemala and Sister Martinez is from Mexico.
Well now that I have to take over 2 sectors we have a lot to do. We gained a lot of people that Elder Stark and Elder Poole were teaching so we have a lot of work to do. And if you ask if I am happy about the changes, I would say no. I didn't want this to happen but it's what needed to happen. So I have to live by this saying, "Come what may, and love it." So what ever happens, I have to love it and just work my little butt off.
On the bright side we are still working with Marcela and she is doing really good - especially with quitting smoking and she feels so good about herself now. I am so happy for her. We have also found a lot of other people that we are really excited to teach and I will be letting you know how all of this new change stuff goes next week.
Thank you all for your emails and your love and support. Have a good week and I love you all!

Hey Everyone,
Well today was a sad but a happy day! I got a new companion and he is from Mexico. His name is Elder Mendez. He is really funny and I think we will get along just fine. haha. So we got together around 1:30 today and its only 3:45 here and we already have been making jokes and stuff. I hope he can help me loosen up a little, I have been really stressed with the work but the work always goes on and we will see fruits here soon.
Yesterday we went to see a family that we contacted in the street and when we got there they let us in and we started to teach them and they were just sucking it all up, it was sweet! haha. They were so excited and they are going to pray about Joseph Smith and they said they want to get baptized! And we will be doing everything to help them, they will be going on a trip here soon but that wont stop us. haha. Their names are Danelo (dad,22), Violeta (mom,22), Ben (son, almost 2). They are awesome.
So something I learned this week is that I need to learn more about love with patience. When I lose one of these things it's all downhill from there. So if anyone has a thought or anything to help a poor missionary out I would love for your help. One thing that I learned is that the prayers helps out so much in any situation that you are in, even when you lose your patience. But the thing that we need to do to have love and be patient is have the Holy Ghost, and how do we get that? We are obedient. So almost everything comes down to being obedient.
Thanks to all that wrote me and i hope that everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you all and have a great Christmas!

Hey everyone,
Well this week has been a good one and a rough one for me. But I have learned a lot about myself and the meaning of "thank you". Even if you are having a hard time there is always something to be thankful for and show someone that you love them. Like in these 3 photos, these are the 3 people I live with and I love them all - even when they bug me. haha. It doesn't happen a lot. For Thanksgiving we ate noddles with salsa and meat. And at night we made pancakes with chocolate chips, brownies in the microwave, shakes in the blender and all that good stuff. So I am guessing it's not anything like the Thanksgiving you all had - but it was a fun one.
So this week we were on a mission to find some new people to teach and we found some! One is a family of 3. They are so great and I love them already! Juan, Verginia, and Constanza. They are looking for something to help them have more faith. We have been helping them and they have loved talking to us. So if you can put them in your prayers so that they can open up their hearts more and keep listening to us so they can progress. Thanks.
So on Sunday something really cool happened! We had lunch with a family that's from Utah. The husband is working down here and they live in a part of my sector that is really nice, really nice! haha. They made us a lunch that was so good - the salad from Cafe Rio. Oh man it was so good, they had the green sauce and sweet pork. Oh man it was the best thing that has touched my mouth! And we played with their kids that speak both Spanish and English. Elder Poole was so happy, he is new and he was like "I can have a conversation." haha - he is funny.
Well, thanks for everything that you do for me and the love you send my way. Have a good week.

Well, this last week was a good one - we had a lot of success with Alex a new guy that I was teaching. Alex is doing good and he went to the Stake Conference. He liked it and was really happy to be there with us and learn.
I got changed and now I am in a different sector. All the members on Sunday were really sad because they found out that we were going to have changes - but we didn't know until 12:30am last night and after the call they told us that Elder Nielsen needed to be somewhere at 8am so I had to pack last night. I was packing from 12:30am to 3am and then after that we couldn't sleep much so we talked and we were talking about how much we are going to miss one another. After getting 2 or 3 hours of sleep we woke up at 6:20 am and that kicked my butt. haha. Well, my companion Elder Nielsen will be training now and I am in a city called Colina that is outside of the city I am with Elder Jones. Elder Jones is from Boise, Idaho and he is really cool and I am excited to work with him. So I am really happy and I am really excited to be in my new sector and the cool thing is that Elder Stark - my old companion - will be living in the same house as me. So it will be a fun time with him and stuff.
| with Elder Jones |
Something that I have learned is that we cannot be upset with what happens in life - because everything happens for a reason. The times when something happens and we don't know why - that's when we need to go do and fight. I learned this today seeing that I didn't want to leave my sector but I was called to come out here. There is a reason and I am going to go find out why, and I am going to complete with my purpose. So if anything happens to you - don't ask why is this happening to me - but what can I learn from this or what do I need to learn or what do I need to do. I know if you can do this it will change the way you look at things and life will become easier and the challenges won't be so hard.
I know that this church is true and the work that I am doing for the Lord is true. It's the most important work that I could ever do in my life - next to having a family. haha. I know that Jesus Christ lives and He restored this church to the earth through Joseph Smith. Because of that, we can be baptized the way that Christ was baptized - the way that is valid in the eyes of God. I love you all and I hope that your week goes good for you!

Elder Christensen

Hey everyone!
Well this week was a crazy one, every day felt like it went by really fast. I would wake up and then the next thing I knew I was in my bed again going to sleep. The time is starting to go really fast and I am not liking it to much. If it stays like this I will be home before I know it and i will be happy, sad. haha. But we had a good week, 2 days I wasn't with Elder Nielsen. We have changes for a day and its cool to get to know other missionaries, but every time Elder Nielsen and I would get back together we would through a small party, it's great.
One of the things that happened this week is that Cristian turned 28 so we had a BBQ for lunch with him and his family. All the photos that I sent to you guys was at the BBQ. The one with me is the Pot leaves that they have in their house. They aren't going to use them but I was going to put a card saying break in case of emergencies, but I was lazy.
haha. They got CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! Wooooooooooooooooooooo. Now we are on the road to a eternal family - so happy for them! They are doing good and making friends in the ward so we are really happy with what is going on and how everything is working out with them. So keep putting them in your prayers so they can make it to the temple in one year!
With Leti and Guillermina, they are doing great and going to church. The only thing is that Guillermina doesn't believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. We found out why and its because she doesn't want to get baptized if she gets an answer. But we helped her see that it's really important that she gets baptized so she is going to pray again to see if Joseph Smith was a Prophet. So please put her in your prayers that she can get an answer from God. thanks.
So I had a question and I learned something this week...
•Why was it important that Christ had to bleed his own blood?
(to let you know I studied this in Spanish so I am translating from Spanish into English so lets hope it works. haha)
Matt 26:28--- this is my blood, bleed for the remission of sins.
that led me to a different scripture in the bible in Exodus:
Exodus 24:3-8---Christ had to bleed for our sins has a symbol for sacrifice, because in the law of Moses the people had to do blood sacrifices to receive forgiveness. they had to do that because Jehovah made that convent with them.
then in Hebrews 9:15-22 it teaches us and says " with out bleeding of blood there is no remission of sins." I know that Christ lives and that he paid for my sins and all the sins of the world and I would do anything for him to show him how much I love him. That is my testimony!
Love you all! Have a good week!

Hey eveyone,
Last night we had changes, but nothing got changed for us so Elder Nielsen and I are here together for another 6 weeks. oh yeah man! haha. I am really pumped for this next change and the things I am going to learn from it. The last change I learned a lot of things and one of the things I learned that has changed my life is LOVE! I have learned how important love is in our lives. I have been trying to show my love for all the people I serve and get to know, and I do it by doing service for them, even if it is just a little act. But I know now if I dont have love for what I am doing or for who I am with (companions, wife, kids, family) it's not going to be very fun! I now understand what I need to do to make things work out, forget myself and focus on others and help them through their problems and when I do that they will be happy and I will be happy. Man, what has happened to me? I am growing up and I like it. I never thought i would like growing up and learning all these things but it's cool. It all started with my love for my Savior, if I didn't have that I wouldn't have come here and I wouldn't have grown and learned so much in my life! But it's great and I am loving life.
Well, a little about the family we are teaching, they are doing great! They went to church this last Sunday and are all down with the lessons and are going to be baptized this coming Sunday so we need your help. If you would put them in your prayers - Cristian, Carolina, and Janaby - that would be great. So I was in church and Carolina was sitting next to me and all the little girls in this ward for some reason love me and always wave and smile at me, well, Carolina was like, "man, you have a lot of girlfriends!" I told her it comes with the job! haha, not really, but I thought it. I love this ward and I love Cristian, Carolina, Janaby and Martina they are great!
Here are some photos for you all to enjoy. Look how skinny I am getting, I have lost almost 15 pounds in the last month. noooooooooooooo! I am going to try and get that back, I came into this sector at 210 and I am down around 195 or so. oh man. =( Well, I am out. Until next week... have a good week!
Love you all!

Sorry for not sending a letter the last week, we had changes and I had some medical problems so I didn't have very much time to write so I just wrote to my mom and some other people. But here is the letter for this week. =)
I am going to start talking about my photos, there is one of me and my companion Elder Nielsen. He is from Payson, Utah and he is a great elder and we have been having a lot of fun and working hard. I am excited for these next 5 weeks. There are 2 photos of my house I think one of the kitchen and the other is were we sleep. My bed is the green one, all my blankets are green haha. I sleep with 2 blankets and 2 sweaters, PJ bottoms with sweat-pants. and I still get cold sometimes. It's hard to find places with central heating, and plus our electricity has been out for the past week so we haven't had hot water all week. So the first 2 days we showered with cold water, well I am a girl so I didn't get all the way in and then the one picture with the pans and cup is how we have been showering. We heat up the water on the stove and then take it in to the bathroom and shower like that. It's really funny but it works really good. I am hopping the mission will pay the bill so we can have light and hot water. haha, but I am happy.

Well, Elder Nielsen and I are opening a sector, there were sisters in our sector and they took them out and put us in there so we had no idea where anything was. It's was a blast getting around with a crappy old map, but we did it. And then I made a sweet map from the phone book. The part of Santiago that I am in is called Huelen. It's really close to the center of Santiago and it is a big sector. One time we got a address from a member to go visit a member that is less active and it was at the bottom of our sector and when we got to the street, it was like a main street. There were no houses at all and we got a little lost and we walked for at least 45 mins or more. It was a fun little thing that happened to us. But we got it down now so we will be good.
Well, the sisters had the love of every member so when we show up to the door they are like were are my sisters. Oh man I am sorry but they left and now we are here. But now everyone knows that we are there so I hope I don't have to hear that anymore haha. But the sisters had a baptism and we helped the girl get to church and get confirmed so that was amazing to see. All in all my week was great and I am doing really good. Thanks for all your prayers and stuff you do for me. Have a good week and I will talk to you all next week I hope!? hint hint hahaha.

Hey everyone,
Well last night we had changes but we didn't change so Elder Ojeda and I are together again. Oh yeah man (a kid in our ward says that all the time.). And I am excited to work with him again, I feel good about this change.
This week was a tough one for us, Elder Ojeda got sick and we couldn't work. I tried calling every person in our ward and even another secter and I couldn't find anyone that wanted or could work with me. So I sat in my house reading, yes reading for all the people that know me - that is something I didn't do a lot before the mission, because I didn't like it.
But now I love to read and I read like 5 to 6 hours each day, and because of all that reading I got to finish the Book of Mormon in English, yeah it's about time now I am studing all in Spanish. I have put my English books away and am only studing in Spanish . Oh man, now my head will hurt 2 times as much. haha. But I love it, I am trying to only speak Spanish and just forget English, so if I can do it, it will be interesting. =)
I was reading in the Liahona of Feb. 2010 and I read a talk about "what we should do if we don't know what to do" (something like that). And one part that really stuck out to me is when it talked about "not knowing something is not an excuse for not doing it." like some of the rules in the mission or commandments, we might not know why we do them but we do know that we need to do them. Just because we don't know why we do things doesnt make it okay not to do them. So that is going to be my saying now, I hope I can live it.

Hey everyone,
Well, more about my companion, Elder Ojeda. He lives in West Valley City, Utah, he went to Hunter High, he loves to play basketball and go snowboarding, and his birthday is June 4th! Now, how crazy is that? We have the same birthday and have some of the same loves and we live like 15 mins. from each other! We have become really good friends and have had some good laughs together already. It's fun, we are working hard to find those people that are waiting for us. I am loving it so far.
This week we worked hard and saw some fruits of it: we found a family of 3 looking for something more. They are a young family the girl is like 5 months old or so and is super cute. And Carlos and Sofia are super awesome. They love when we come over and love to learn. They have so many questions for us and the lessons we are teaching them are answering all of them. It's so crazy how these things work, I love seeing the hand of God "Do Work!" but they have a little shop that they both work in and its hard to find time to teach them and its even harder to have them close up for Sunday, but we are doing our best. Please add them in your prayers.
Here is something from my mission president, it is super good and it helped me out a lot:
"As we seek to gain a greater understanding of the Atonement through our personal study of the Book of Mormon and Preach My Gospel, let us not forget the importance of our own personal learning by faith. This we not only study and read about the Atonement but we must apply in our lives. We must be doers of the word and not just “readers” of the word. The following is a powerful recipe that comes from Preach My Gospel for becoming more like our Savior Jesus Christ:
“Even after we have accepted Christ and repented of our sins, we may fall short and sin again. We should continually try to correct these transgressions. In addition, we should continually improve—to develop Christlike qualities, to grow in knowledge, and to serve more effectively. As we learn more about what the Savior expects of us, we will want to show our love by obeying Him. Thus, as we repent daily, we will find that our lives will change and improve. Our hearts and our behavior will become more Christlike. We will come to feel great joy in repenting daily." Preach My Gospel pg 63
This is so true! We need to be the doers when we know the gospel of Christ, not be the readers. we need to help those that don't know it or are having a hard time following it. If we really understood the doctrine of the atonement of Christ nothing would stop us from going to church or reading the scriptures or praying or following the commandments. It's so simple at times and people so close around us don't know it's that close. We need to share it with them. (2 Nephi 2:8).
I know that this is the true church and the only church that has the power to save people and to bring them to live with God, Jesus Christ, and their families. I didn't really understand the meaning of why we do the things we do, and now I do. It's because we love our Heavenly Father and our brother Jesus Christ and of course our families, when we have a true love for Christ we will do what ever it takes to follow him. I know that Christ lives and is blessing all of us every day. But we need to do our part. I love you all.
Have a good week.
Love,
Elder Christensen.
Well, I think that Chile just doesn't want me to send photos - because every computer I use sucks or is broken in some way. So there won't be photos again, sorry.

Hey everyone,
Well, I got changed, I am now in Santiago in a place called Conchali. It's the same address to send me letters. It's a lot different from San Felipe, but I know I am going to like it.
It was really hard to leave San Felipe and all my friends and converts, but I know that there are people in this new sector (Conchali 10) waiting for me. But I hope that all goes well in San Felipe.
My new companion is from Utah. He is from West Valley just like me but he went to Hunter High. He has been here for a long time and I know that we are going to work really well together and become good friends. I will be sending a photo of him next week because I didn't remember to take one before we got here to write. I will tell you a little more about him next week.
The baptism of Marcela was amazing, her dad came and he was crying, her step mom was crying, and everyone was crying. She has been waiting 2 years to be baptized and the day came and passed with a lot of happiness. I am happy that I got to be a part of it and help her complete her dreams. I love this work, the work of the Lord.
All we have to do in this life is be willing to do what the Lord wants us to do and we will be happy and have fun and be safe and all the good things. It was hard to leave my old sector but I know it's the Lord's will so it's my will too. I love the Lord and all that he does.
I love you all. Take care.

Hey everyone,
Yes! I found a computer that let me upload photos. It's a good thing too, because we went on a hike the other day. It was really fun, but there was one thing that wasn't fun that happened to me. We were going down the hill and there are a lot of cactus and I slipped a little and I got cactus spikes in my butt. Oh man, that was something I could have done without. But all in all, I had a great time.
Okay we got a new Elder this week. His name is Elder Jensen and he's from Sandy, Utah. He came out of the MTC speaking really good, he doesn't have any fear to do anything. But it's a lot harder to train than I thought, even though there are 2 of us doing it. But we are having a great time. I think I hear this from Elder Jensen every 10 mins. "they talk so fast! how do you understand that?" and then he told us that the first couple of days all the sentences sound like one word, but now he is picking out more and more words. He is getting better everyday. It's cool to watch someone grow in the mission and to have a hand in it. I hope I can help him more and more everyday.

week ending 2.7.10
Hey everyone,Well, this photo is of me and Elder Stark doing some service for a family. We ripped grass out of this garden for 2 and a half hours it was really fun. Not only did we destroy the ground, we dug up onions and ate them. The first one we ate was so sweet and tasty but after that they tasted bad. The lady that lived there could smell us really bad, I just laughed. It was a good time.
This photo is of Luisa and us being little kids, it was really fun. Luisa got the Holy Ghost this week and she started to cry after she got it. I can't believe the change she has made. She went from having no spirit at all to just glowing with the spirit. I can't wait for her to grow strong in the church.

week ending 1.24.10
Hey everyone,This week was a little different and a little harder, because of the changes. It took this week to get used to my new companion and how he taught. But now we are ready to do some work and baptize the people of San Felipe.
Yesterday I went on changes with another elder and a member and we were on bikes, that really sucked. I haven't ridden a bike for so long and it kicked my butt. And on top of that my back tire went flat and it was so hot. But I felt like a missionary. I was laughing the whole time, and thinking what am I doing. But I am having a great time.

Hey everyone,Well today I sent my companion home, yep that's right, my trainer left me so I am getting a new comp today. I am going to miss Elder Davies, he helped me so much and I am glad he was my trainer. chow Elder Davies.
Okay this was a tough week for me and Elder Davies because our investigator, Estefy, decided that she didn't want to get baptized anymore. She loves the church and everything. We spent 4 hours this week with her trying to figure out what happened. She had so many different stories and stuff. But we went to talk with her family and we found out that her sister has been telling her bad things about our church and that she shouldn't get baptized. That was tough for us to hear. We tried to straighten things out with everyone but it didn't work. So that was tough.

Hey everyone,
Sorry about last week the computer was really stupid.
New Years Eve: First off I went to sleep at 11:30 so I really didn't do anything for New Years Eve but I was really sleepy so I wanted to sleep. lol. The best New Years yet.
The day of New Years, we were trying to contact people but lets just say most were sleeping or really drunk. Well, we were walking down this street and we saw a taxi driver helping a drunk guy into his car. The driver asked if we would help him take him somewhere, and we said sure. While in the car the drunk guy opened a beer outside of the car and the beer flowed in to my face. It was pretty gross. And when we got him out, his hands were covered in beer and it got all over Elder Davies. So we went home and washed up a little. It was funny.
